Welcome

Jøssåsen Landsby is a community ('Landsby'=village) for people with special needs, located in Malvik Commune near the city of Trondheim.

Jøssåsen is a part of the Camphill movement.  There are six similar Campill villages in Norway. (There are  near a hundred Camphillplaces worldwide)

Our institution offers a great variety of challenges for younger and older people, who are willing to join and share with us the ideas and experiences of Camphill.

Each year Jøssåsen offers several places for foreign alternative civil services, social services or internship (minimum 3 -12 months).

With the information and the pictures on the following pages, you will be able to get an impression of life in the village.  There are also background information about the community and information about how you can apply to live and work at Jøssåsen.

Please enjoy, and don't hesitate to contact us with comments or questions.
